What would be the reactions if Trump was removed?

Would there be violent reactions from his supporters?

Is that the "real" argument from Repubs? They are fearful of what might happen if Trump is removed from office?

Should the Natonal Guard units be placed on alert?

Should our laws be ignored for fear of what might happen if the laws are enforced?

What would Repubs consider cause for removal?

Dearest Clarissa,

It’s but merely 10:30 and we’ve exhausted our pork rind reserves. The Tennessee regiment is really hogging the Hot Pocket microwave too. What we lack in nourishments, our hearts are filled with pride.....not that weird kind of pride either.

Give my love to Rose.

Forever yours,

There are too many nutcases where I live who would not take kindly to their guy being unceremoniously dumped outside of the White House.

And telling my husband, his wife and I were basically fools for not supporting mf45. He eventually started taping us arguing back to him and when my husband pulled out his own cell phone to record him back he retreated to his bedroom. I knew he was a repuke but never thought he was so far gone in the cult.

I suspect that a lot of his supporters would retreat and stew in another room. But they are real cowards.

they would, of course, have their orgasm of fake outrage, but then pence would say something bigoted (along with a whole lot of bible talk) and then republicans would go, oh, ok, maybe it's not such a big deal after all.

is another story entirely. They may accept it or they might act in a violent manner. I don’t know for sure but the base sees things differently than elected officials.

I have no idea how they would react to his removal or election loss; but I would not be surprised by anything that may or may not happen.

9. Removing Trump
Mon Feb 3, 2020, 12:46 PM
Feb 2020

There would likely be some violent reactions. Not as wide spread as people think, but some people would be moved to act out.

It is not a legitimate argument. Republicans are only worried about how they would look to the base of Trump supporters. They aren't worried about violence or protest, only about their own fate at the ballot box.

No. National guard units can be called up and respond pretty immediately. Local Police would likely be able to manage disturbances immediately. Plus, there is very little chance he will be convicted.

No. Laws should not be ignored. The problem is that impeachment is a political process not a fully legal one. There should be impartiality, but we are pretty aware that Republicans do not follow the rules. Trump is guilty. Many Republicans actually know this, but they are not going to convict Trump because that would be a problem for Republicans in the election coming up.

If Trump had a D behind his name would be the only way he would be removed. Republicans are all in. Not even a "smoking gun" would persuade them right now.

But I don't know how far it would go. As soon as somebody with bigger guns shoots back, they might high-tail it outta there.

The Rs have planted their flags in Trump's ass, and I don't think there is anything he could do going forward that will cause them to change their minds. Because he will continue to "crime" from here until January 20, 2021.

...to every Republican senator that they would get $10m each for voting to remove Trump from office.

Payment contingent on there being enough senators that sign up and only until AFTER the vote has occurred.

That's only because rules don't seem to apply anymore.

Just putting the offer out there would make Trump lose his freaking mind.

They'd only do that if Murdoch, Rush and company were onboard with here's your walking papers news 24/7. Mext would follow a total blackout of Trump news. He'd get no airtime, would only be mentioned negatively, and they'd call him a tax and spend libtard etc... when ever he briefly came up.

His supporters would do whatever FOX told them to do. If FOX told them he was a rotten apple, within a month they'd forget about him and be talking Pence up as the second coming instead.
