Also, Lisa D. just said that Garcia has been going on Spanish radio (or TV??) every night giving a commentary of events to the Spanish speaking electorate. This calms me down somewhat by being informed of how hard the House is working to do the right thing.

(129,779 posts)They ended at ~3 pm ET and went into "Morning Business" mode in the Senate (Roberts was dismissed), with Senators speaking for up to 10 minutes on any topic although all that spoke today did talk about the impeachment trial. They concluded at ~7 pm ET with Murkowski as the final speaker today, and will resume "Morning Business" at 9:30 am ET Tuesday 2/4/20, for more speeches until such time when they will adjourn to participate in the SOTU tomorrow night (to be held in the House chamber).
