There is a big difference between disliking or even hating what a person has done or what they stand for, and for wishing they get or are consumed by cancer or some other horrible disease.

Cancer is not retribution. It isn't wrath. It is a human frailty which anyone of us can be a victim of, which many of us know of people who have or had cancer and what it does.

I don't care about Limbaugh. He has wrought a great deal of suffering to others. However I do care about the general state of humanity and I do agree that we cannot become so callous as to revel in Limbaugh's illness.

I totally get that people are upset and he has been horrible, but I do think that there is a loss of humanity when we want to see people we don't like suffer. I fully admit that I have said and thought those things too. I work hard to not fall into that these days.

As I said on another thread, I will not miss him one bit when he is gone, but wishing suffering on him due to an illness that affects good people and people we think are bad and "deserve" it, is not a good thing.

Remember that they think we all deserve it too.

I hope you are able to sleep without the nightmares of what you are owed. Reflect just in case there is retribution for your actions while living, somewhere somehow. You will be sleeping a lot with the wear and tear on your body with chemo and likely radiation so there will be a lot of time for reflection.

Mostly I hope that somewhere we have never seen, there is a place where you hide your ability to reflect on what you have done with your life and can see it for the destruction and pain you have caused over the years.
