Remember Rush Limbaugh's TV show?

The syndicated one?

I watched it, (since by 11:30 at night there really wasn't much else on,) and there were times it could be actually funny, and entertaining.

BUT...

The last few months before it was canceled, the show got shrill, boring and repetitive.
Like in how many times did he show that same clip of Bill Clinton over and over and over...
(Even the audience was screaming "NO!" )

I stopped watching it, and soon it was shit-canned.

Now?

The same guy who called cancer from smoking "rare," and second-hand smoke "a liberal hoax," well, Karma can be a real nasty thing at times.
Even IF Rush survives, he's going to be hurting, a lot.

There was a thing going around-pre twitter-about Rush wearing vertical stripes to hide his obesity. He protested loudly and firmly.

Closing credits showed: Mr Limbaugh's suits provided by a well-known "Big & Tall" shop.

for about 2 months. Before long it ended up at a 4:30AM slot, where syndicated shows go to die.

6. And what he said about black quarterbacks

PHILADELPHIA -- Donovan McNabb has been to three straight Pro Bowls and two consecutive NFC championship games, and was runner-up for NFL MVP in his first full season as a starter.

Still, commentator Rush Limbaugh saw fit to question the quarterback's credentials.

Before McNabb led the Philadelphia Eagles to a 23-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills, Limbaugh said on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" that McNabb is overrated. However, Limbaugh injected his comment with racial overtones that have set off a controversy.

"Sorry to say this, I don't think he's been that good from the get-go," Limbaugh said. "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team."

when Sajack had a talk show. The audiences for Limbaugh's own TV show, which began a couple of years after this incident, were screened to avoid another such debacle.

10. Remember the Rush Limbaugh Tie Collection?
Mon Feb 3, 2020, 11:51 PM

The ran about $40 a tie about 36 years ago, so expensive that many area dittoheads wouldn't even buy them.

Last I saw of them they were clearing them out at half off and even then they couldn't sell them.

We had people coming in all the time asking "Have you got any Rush ties?"

People who looked like they showered only when they remembered to, shaved last around the time Reagan was President, and had a wardrobe consisting entirely of denim. But they wanted Rush's shitty ties.

I was always happy to tell them 'no.' The CEO of this clothing retailer was a well-established liberal Democrat.

He had a dress code to give the show some sort of fake legitimacy. I'm guessing they had a rack of ties for the audience because it looked like most of the yahoos have never worn one before, let alone know how to tie one.
