I remember when Rush Limbaugh, laughed & joked about Eric Garner not being able to breathe. Rush ridiculed & mocked Michael J. Fox, for having Parkinsons and laughed about Ruth Bader Ginsburgs cancer. Maybe now Rush will feel and show empathy for others! At least I hope so!

(115,686 posts)Lee Atwater, noted GOP campaign manager and ratfucker (of Willie Horton fame), is an example. After he got cancer and was on his way out, he found religion and wrote apologies to a bunch of people he'd harmed politically, notably Michael Dukakis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Atwater Limbaugh is a pretty devout asshole, though, so I don't expect much from him.

(16,079 posts)Besides he wouldn't be sincere about it! I said it before and I'll continue to say...I hope he suffers as much physical pain as the emotional pain he's inflicted on others...
Rush has no empathy for others, and this won't change him...

(23,226 posts)I truly hope it is able to overcome this disease. Rush Limbaugh is a horrible affliction that I wouldn't wish on ANY cancer.
