Is there a chance the Senate might censure Trump?

I don't think Trump will let Republicans vote for censure?

Joe Manchin suggested censure as sort of a compromise to show Trump that he was not above the law and it would be a way to hold him accountable. But he doesn't seem to be getting much support for his idea?

In the end, a censure vote would make the impeachment by the House look "legitimate" and the Repubs will not let that happen.

He just got re-elected and won't have to face the voters until 2024 and Trump will be on his way out anyway. He should be the least concerned about voting to acquit IMHO. But then again he's from Trumpsville

but after reading that, it does make you wonder if he's running interference for some R?

Get Dem support for a censure, get the R's behind it to save face and not have to fully defend their votes.

Bingo, a bi-partisan solution.

You think he or any of his lock step piss ants will throw you a bone now?

WHY?

It should be clear to all of us after this sham of a trial that the republicans only strategy from here on out is scorched earth.

That’s the only way to fight back now.
