And the Oscar for nuanced and stellar performance during the State of the Union goes to

our very own and
admired
Nancy Pelosi.


She was the only reason I was able to live through the BS coming in huge waves, unrelenting, adding uncounted new lies to the already counted others.
I am very grateful for her political skill, long practiced, and now I can add to it my gratitude for her being there tonight behind the red tie.

I got to watch her face convey emotion and feedback without words, and be a compatriot to me as these were things I was also feeling while I was able to yell out loud in my pain.

in stifling the overwhelming desire to step in with "You Lie" and other violent impulses acted out.
Her face was a study in conveying her feelings under a tepid smile where the eyes did not partake.

I wrote this before she tore up the piece of trash script - it's where she finally let off steam. I loved her for the courage of the action
