So, Trump had "identifiable mistruths" in his speech, did he? That's what I just heard on MSNBC.

"Identifiable mistruths"--------please turn on the RANT LIGHT

Is there some problem with calling a goddam lie a goddam lie?

Is Trump a goddam "mistruther" or is he a goddam liar?

This type of namby-pamby crap just really pisses me off. Why not say "Gee, Mr. President, sir, I'm really sorry to even mention it, but I think it is just possible that you may have---inadvertently, I'm sure---uttered something that is factually incorrect."

If you have a problem calling a lie a lie, please stop pretending to be journalists as and get your sorry ass off my TV!

They get away with it when only the network or newspaper is only identified.

Orwell would have found this phase of newspeak very interesting. Such a prophet!

It goes right along with re-framing an issue. There are dozens of tactics that, if the public was cognizant of them and how they work, would not fly at all. It is really manipulation both covert and overt.

He's just an identifiable mistruther. How quaint. I guess it's just his "style."

...it would be called a "lie," were they to have actually lied.

Trump, on the other hand "never lies," he just mis-speaks/mumbles/makes-shit-up.

No paywall and way past the 4 paragraph limit. Well worth the read, even if it cuts a little more slack that I would.

Ever since "alternative truth" came out of Kellyanne's foul mouth it has been BS from the MSM. They are owned.

The media tiptoed around the lies told about Saddam Hussein’s “weapons of mass destruction” throughout the hell that was bush/cheney.

Lordy that was a miserable time. They lied and lied and lied and lied some more. Disavowed all kinds of shit they pulled. No such thing as torture, they claimed, while abominations were committed against Iraqi prisoners in black ops sites.

And the best the New York Times could come up with was the most embarrassing headline ever conceived: “Prevaricating President?”

Trump "triumphed over" the Democrats who wanted to "kick him out" of office. Then hysteria over Iowa: catastrophic, shocking, epic, screw up, gift to Trump.

Same as 2016, it will be anti-Democratic crap every day.
