Romney has made cracks in the GOP shield at last.

They’ve been in lock step and passing it off as strength and unity of purpose. It’s not. It’s a feeding frenzy and we’re the prey.

Let’s see what this little blast of light reveals about what they’ll do to one another when the grift gets threatened.

Romney is in a very safe seat, no matter what he does, but it took courage for him to come out with his vote. I applaud him for that. I doubt that any other R Senators will step forward, but at least The Orange One can't claim that he had 100% support from his side of the aisle. Let's hope the Democrats all stand together.

Who knows what will happen in November for him, but he is doing the right thing.

He still did the right thing. Given the state he represents, I would have given him a pass if he voted to acquit, but he voted his conscience.

which is highly likely, he can live with himself. So many of the people in Congress vote the way they think they should in order to keep their jobs, not in order to keep our democratic republic healthy.
