Yes, it was bi-partisan

The really really wanted to get at least Jones, preferable also Manchin and Sinema. This way could say that he was acquitted on a "bi-partisan" vote.

Now we did have a bi-partisan vote: to remove him from office.

And while both Manchin and Sinema have four more years until the next elections, Jones is up this November. He beat all odds by winning "thanks" to Roy Moore, so our thanks really should go to him. I may even donate for his campaign.

(Yes, of course we should thank Romney.)

Keeping his seat will be tough enough anyway in Alabama. I'm glad he did the right thing for the right reason.

hear from Postcards to voters. https://postcardstovoters.org/ He was one of the first ones I wrote cards for after I joined.

Even though I have enough to do here in Texas with our own issues, I can spare the time to send some GOTV postcards on his behalf.

THe card lists I have been assigned have been from all over the place too. It's cool
