I watched the impeachment off and on and I did not hear any Republicans defend Trumps blatant obstruction of congress. Did anyone hear any Republicans do this?

He denied every subpoena, refused every witness, produced zero documents, hid transcripts in secret servers.
What the hell is wrong with Romney that he didn't vote against that too?

(4,047 posts)2. The main argument was that the subpoenas by the House were invalid because they were not authorized
by a vote of the whole House. That was not true because they were authorized by the House rules. They also argued that they did not go to court to get rulings on the subpoenas, even though Trump was blocking everything and it would have taken for ever.

The vote has to be unanimous? That's an exceedingly week argument they have. Only a gullible, ignorant rube would believe that argument. Oh wait...
