Romney proved he is not a religious hypocrite, unlike the people at the prayer breakfast.

Romney takes swearing to God seriously. Evangelicals who support Trump have betrayed their faith, they turned their backs on the teachings of Jesus, the bible. Hell , I am not religious and even I know that. The evangelicals who support Trump may be in for a big surprise when they arrive at the pearly gates. There may be a sign that says, No hypocrites allowed.

in 2016, and Trump got only 45% in Deep Red Utah ... there's at least a decent chance Mitt will retain considerable support.

Funnily enough, this independent candidate is an ACTUAL Wharton Grad (got his MBA there, IOW).

Mormons tend to stick by their own, and the fact that Mitt's fantastically successful and wealthy, and from a very high-ranking Elder family in the church (with a great-great-great-great-grandfather being part of early church leadership), certainly helps secure his position.
