US Capitol Police announces just now that officers are investigating a “suspicious substance” near Adam Schiff’s Rayburn office — advises people to avoid the area

USCP: At approx 10:30am, the US Capitol Police responded to a call of a suspicious substance in the Rayburn House Office (near Rep. Adam Schiff’s office). USCP conducted a thorough investigation and found no hazards. The incident was cleared at approx 11:55am.

Glad to hear nothing to worry about. However, whatever it was, how did it actually get *into* the Rayburn building to begin with?? Don't they x-ray or screen mail to members of Congress??
