Let's say John Roberts stays on as Chief Justice another 16 years

Entirely possible, since he’d be 81. Well, if he does last that long on the Court, that will mean that we would have a Right-Wing Chief Justice for 50 freaking years!!! Are we kidding? As it stands now, it’s been 34 years of Rehnquist/Roberts as Chief Justice. Ridiculous!

how many years forward there will be a right wing majority on the SCOTUS, even after Chumpy is dead and gone. I’ll probably never see a fair and reasonable Court for the rest of my life .... unless we can have a Blue Wave takeover.

Roberts also was nominated in 2005, so Gore would have had to be reelected in what probably would have been a rematch. Anyway, yes, always vote Democrat.
