GOP lawmaker shreds Democratic resolution on House floor

A Republican lawmaker on Thursday expressed his disgust with a Democratic resolution by ripping it in half on the House floor.

As the House was debating a resolution expressing disapproval with a new Trump administration Medicaid guidance, Rep. Paul Mitchell (R-Minn.) indicated he was fed up with non-binding resolutions.

Mitchell said the resolution “has less impact, less importance than the tissue in the cloakroom has."

By ripping the resolution, Mitchell referenced Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) viral moment from the State of the Union on Tuesday, when she shredded her copy of President Trump’s speech.

thing I can think of is that they passed the 2017 tax cuts and jobs bill which failed miserably in creating jobs but it certainly cut the 1%er's taxes quite a bit. rump is a worthless piece of you know what, and a credit hog.

Take care!

the house should pass a bill forbidding trump from making these changes or, better yet, legislating specifically how the program must be managed.

It's a shame the hospital in Lapeer* was closed. He may have been able to benefit from their services.

* It was a hospital for those who had brain or cognitive deficiencies so severe that they were not able to take care of themselves. Not being able to tie your shoes was not severe enough.
