I have multiple sources inside the Justice Department that tell me when Barr became Attorney General he shut down *six* separate investigations into Trump and Trump related companies and surrogates.

I'm told Barr has also prevented *two new* investigations from moving forward.

Short of a revolution, I see no hope on the horizon. We have been neutered and are still under the illusion we have some say in things. It is making me nauseous to say this but I fear it is true. It is not official yet but I imagine it is coming. The country we thought we lived in is done. They are just biding their time to let the rest of us know what’s what. I have been donating small donations to those Senators who are up for re-election and we all see that they are all culprits anyone can be bought will money and sweet deals.

They are proudly doing it in the open and treating the American people as non essential subjects. We may have to protect ourselves and our country.

If anyone saw Chuck Schumer on Rachel last night he mentioned dictatorship, I think we are there. We who pay attention can see and hear what is happening, this is happening. Another 4 years of this menace the country will be done, and Mr. Putin will be very happy.

We are destroying ourselves from within. The sooner we change this we can stop the hemorrhaging of our country.

23. bdamomma, only recently did I come to the startling conclusion

that we are done as a nation. (At least the nation we thought we had.) I, like many other DUers, kept thinking that it would be a simple fix. At the next election, we’d just vote the bad eggs out. That is how it is SUPPOSED to work. The power of the people in action and all of that jazz.

What we were not counting on was how Putin would undermine our basic principles so that we no longer can count on the power of elections to save us. He has studied our election process and figured out how to corrupt it. He has rounded up the current politicians to do his dirty work and finagled a way to put in his puppet, tRump. You have to hand it to him. He has been genius in his approach. We’ve been wooed, screwed and tattooed and never felt a thing until it was a done deal.

With our one sure fire way to rid ourselves of the evil ones taken from us, we are left empty handed to fight back. We can flap our gums (so to speak) until we are blue in the face, but with no mechanism to rid ourselves of the President and bad Congress members we have, what can we do? Well, there is revolution. Rise up and protest. But the evil ones can over run us with little effort. That will scare most of us to silence. And we’re still stuck with tRump (Putin in disguise), McConnell and the rest of the gang.

So I admit I’m cowed at the moment. My determination to win back our country at the ballot box is weak, barely on life support. The very system has been corrupted so we cannot trust the outcome. I’d gladly revert to my previous optimism if I thought we had a chance to restore our rights and our country. Maybe someone here or in Washington will come up with a plan that will work. Right now I don’t see it. And I’m sad and afraid for all of us. Our world is in peril and we’re watching it play out in real time. 😟😣😢
P.S. I am open to suggestions that maybe there is hope. Anyone? Give me a compelling reason to think this will all work out. No platitudes, please.
