We are fine, as a nation.

The 'temp' employees we hire, like Trump and Congress and statehouses are the problem.
Voters need to start purging entire parties, in one election, to force them to start paying attention to the issues we want addressed.

Scare the living be-jesus out of the political parties. We did it in 1936. Google that election and see that the voters did to the GOP.

Spoiler: The next Congress 1937-8, had only 18 GOP Senators and 88 GOP House Representatives.
