In my state the local GOP succeeded in doing just that.

A major purge is required, a purge of an entire political party. I hope the few who are actual Rs and not the cult followers, will start up a new party.

Romney might draw some independents who might otherwise vote for our nominee. He's not going to draw from the Trump die-hards, and the never-Trumpers will probably stay home.

Read somewhere that someone asked Romney if this was his plan to run in 2024...he laughed and more or less he's forever pissed off the base.
He'll get independents and the almost mythical sane republicans.....we need them to vote D.
