Faithless electors

Do you remember this term, "faithless electors," from 2016? This term refers to those Electoral College members who cast their vote different from what their state voters wanted. I remember passionately praying for them to save our country from Trump.

These are the men and women that can save us from a stolen election. They could vote for anyone other than Trump. There would be nothing anybody could do about it.

The other interesting thing that could happen is, if no candidate recorded the required number of EC votes to attain the 270 needed to win, guess who then decides the election results? The House of Representatives. Guess who controls the House? WE DO.

So, I think it is very important to keep pushing for the revelations of
Trump's malfeasance, so the EC can decide for itself if they want a monster similar to Hitler running our country. They are really the ones we need on our side.

but we have never walked down it before. We need to watch and see what Orange Man is going to do. I doubt that anyone could have foreseen the utterly depraved state of the Trump regime. Maybe he will piss enough electoral voters off to deprive him of the win.

In 2016, Trump did work to handpick his electors. We'll see what happens. It appears, from the structure of the EC, that he only has to work on the EC to win.

Here is an article about the EC:

The House does indeed decide, but each state delegation gets a single vote.

Currently, 26 states have a Republican majority, 23 states have a Democratic majority, and one state is dead tied. Trump wins.

All things are up for grabs. You don't know who might defect if Trump proves to be a holy terror. It would actually be safer for everyone if he got voted out at the EC level. We need defectors, those who can recognize a tyrant when they experience him.

They were all Democratic electors, most probably Bernie-or-Busters, who just had to write in some snowballs-chance-in-hell candidates so they could show the DNC a thing or two.

If the Electoral College is tied the House does decide the president, but each state gets 1 and only 1 vote. That means that Wyoming's one Republican representative has the same say as California's 53 largely Democratic ones.
