It's been a week today and still

So sick the coughing is less but now my face has swollen on one side and my ear is killing me. I don’t do sick well even though I have a high threshold for pain.
This has made me cry!

I had the flu in December and it lasted 3 weeks... but the first week was by far the worst.

Hang in there, this too shall pass.

8. I did Virtual

Dr. Online never ever again!!! I told him how bad I was and he gave me something to ease coughing. Tussi pearls!
Then it went I think into infection. I told him about how bad it was coughing stuff up he said that’s ok it’s the body getting rid of the cold.
Then my face started to swell and called my dentist which quickly wrote a script for penicillin when I showed him my face and couldn’t put my teeth together. Today I can put my teeth together but my ear is pounding!
I don’t like to sound like a wuss but after a solid week of feeling like all
I can do is my bed and bathroom... it’s got the best of me!

6. One day at a time and find a good series

A long one that is a feel good one.

That is what I did. I caught my moms cold at Thanksgiving and was sick a few days later until mid Jan with just a few healthy days mid December.

When I caught the second bad cold that had me bedridden on Christmas Eve and day I fought not to pity party and just cozied up with my dog and mindless tv series.

Hang in there, it will eventually go away although in the middle of it it feels like forever.

Today I’m gonna try in bed with my heated throw and kitty!

15. Sometimes anything you have to concentrate on is hard

Thats why I said mindless series. I started Gilmore Girls. And I watch on my ipad in bed. Just moving to living room was too much some days.

Lots of hot tea and honey for the cough and I forced myself to use my sinus rinse twice a day. And got organic hard candies to suck on instead of cough drops which taste awful and do really nothing.

13. On antibiotics now

and hope they kick in here soon. Every 8 hours I’ve only had 3

14. I had similar prob, tooth pain, ear pain, dentist, gave me antibiotics, knocked it right out

4 days later now and symptoms all gone! Yay, and it didn't cost me anything, I love my dentist. Explained we had this problem before.

I had this happen before a year and a half ago and she first thought it was just my tooth, but whole side of mouth had teeth sore, better xrays showed a sinus infection. It helps to go to the same doc so you don't have to try and explain your history all over again!

She gave me strong Augmentin script, good stuff.

Motrin 800mg for pain and inflamation helps too
