Please don't tell me that using Congressional power to shut down the gubmint

is too extreme or risky.

The Retrumplicans have demonstrated that they will murder us in the fucking streets to retain power.

We shouldn't provide them the bullets to do it.

The House doesn’t own a “shut down the government” button and only gets one when the government runs out of money and Congress has to appropriate more...

... but they just passed a new spending bill just prior to impeachment. The government isn’t going to run out of money before the election.
