The only way we can lose our democracy is if enough people do not care.

It is not complicated, it is very simple. If enough people care Trump will be swept away into the bowels of history. If enough people care Trump will be remembered as one of the most evil people in our history.

If enough people do not care. Then the American people will be swept away into the bowels of history. The American people will be remembered as a bunch of fools who destroyed themselves.

They don't want to talk about it, hear about it, or make an effort to understand it. Unless they can make a clear connection between their life circumstances and political power they will not even bother to vote.
