Faketangate: The Stable Genius Turns A ONE DAY STORY Into A Five Day Story By Denying it.

A photographer takes a picture demonstrating the worst kept secret in Washington: That Trump uses bronzer makeup, and hair dye. (Not only does he use makeup and hair dye, but he insists on applying it himself, rather than let an 'expert' put it on. Just like every other element of Trump 'policy,' his refusal to take advice from 'elitist experts' makes him look ridiculous. LITERALLY look ridiculous in this case.)

If he'd just ignored it, it would have been a one day story. But no. He has such a fragile ego that he has to deny what any idiot can see with their own eyes. Thus, giving his opponents the opportunity to post DOZENS of OTHER photos of his bad make up, RIGHT ON HIS OWN TWITTER feed! What an imbecile.

7. True, but (and this is a little wonky), THIS publicity actually damages his brand.

One of the things that makes Trump appealing to his base is that he seems 'genuine' and 'real.' Sure, he lies all the time, and his fans have managed to unheard the constant factual lying. But they believe he must be 'genuine' because if he was a typical 'fake politician,' he wouldn't SAY all the batshit crazy things he says out loud.

But the makeup, hair dye, and fake physique (padded shoulders) works against that brand. Wearing makeup is usually something that rednecks hold in contempt. For us to harp on it probably won't make MUCH of an impact on his base...but every little bit counts.

After all, he can't expand his base. But I feel awful replying to these discussions sometimes because i know it feeds the beast. He seems to like the attention. It's just hard not chiming in.

He remembers all the people who voted for him.

That makes him feel a lot smarter than a whole bunch.

"...and the hair looks good?"

That is the only time I can recall ever seeing the slightest hint of insecurity or self-doubt in any statement or tweet made by this president, assuming it isn't a typo.

His usual way would be to write: "...and the hair looks good!"

his whole face into the bronzer concoction. Or, at least this is what it looks like. And he does it to himself. He's got no one else to blame but himself.

I wonder if he uses the bouffant ones or just flower print. Come to think of it, the bouffant ones might be too difficult for his tiny hands.
