A fellow that I serve on a board with, posted a photo of Marley on his instagram feed a couple of days ago and mentioned the birthday.
I did not take him for a Marley fan. I like him a lot better now.

Bob Marley... still bringing people together.

Great article. I am thinking that somehow the word journey does not quite seem adequate to describe his time here on earth....

...dedicated to Bob's 75th on Friday.
They did games with listeners and stuff.
They had an interview with a woman (forget the name) who was a pal of his. She knew tons about his history & his impact on the Jamaican government, especially Manley. She also knows Chris Blackwell.
It was the show with Marc Goodman and Alan something.
It was fun.

That must have been fun
When we were on the North Coast over the holidays, one of the helpers told me that Chris is in very poor health - serious memory loss.

Having a brain cramp over the co-host's name.
I listen to that station a lot, & I catch their show on drive home when I sub in school. Had to look it up. Alan Light
Too bad about Chris.
Wish I could recall the woman's name. She was really informative.

I can't select just one - that said if I had to pick the best lines for Don the Con it would be from Small Axe although I'm not into the JahJah part
Why boasteth thyself of evil man
Playing smart and not being clever

Can't wait for him to fall in the pit...if you a big tree we are a small axe...

One of my favorite Bob Marley songs. The I Threes are singing back up for Queen Latifah.

My buddy's easy solution was to make up a name; for forty years, starting the mid seventies, 'Bob Marley' lived on D Street, San Rafael, California (4:20, and Grateful Dead headquarters fame). The telephone number rolled into a dedicated fax line when my buddy's business became semi-legitimate.

By most accounts, his ganja planes and money laundering days are way, way behind him. He has a totally legit real estate/contracting business, but I understand he still conducts a lot of business with his trusted tradesmen in cash.
