And they have done nothing about it for 3 years.
Most of the time, they aren't even disputed.
Is there nothing they can do?
He destroys the Democrats with his tweet attacks.

Yet they leave him to spew his shit because they are afraid of his little twetter followers.

(2,146 posts)His target is his base....42-45 %ish of the electorate....it's far from "deadly.." It's comical.
What would you propose to do about it....it's you post?
kentuck
(111,052 posts)Not at random on Twitter, but organized responses.
AncientGeezer
(2,146 posts)If that's your view....organize the responses...make that happen. You can start it if you feel the Democratic response is lacking.
Or..would you prefer censorship?

(42,641 posts)Trump is a liar. I think most voters already know that.
kentuck
(111,052 posts)They did gain a vote in the Senate.
I hope voters know he is a "liar". I have not seen the evidence of that yet.

(42,641 posts)Trump needed a cover-up.
My opinion, and hope, I that 2020 will reflect that.

(111,052 posts)In my opinion.
Doesn't say much about the low-intelligence voters, but I do not have a lot of faith in the American people anymore.
However, we will continue to hope.

(12,712 posts)Combine them with a billion-dollar machine that is gearing up to roll over the virtual battlefield for the General Election like a division of Panzer tanks and you can see what the multiplier effect will be this time around.
What do you do about that? Well, know more about it and how it is going to work. Then, be more vigilant and less emotionally reactionary to what comes. It is going to take cool, calm and an insistence on facts, truth and clarity when it comes to the sheer amount of salvos that will come from the Trumpian blitzkriegs in store for us.
They see that this is going to be a definitive battle for tyranny against democracy, as should be obvious to most of us by know so it is not surprising just how much money and effort will be put into it and why it is going to be unlike any previous political event in this country. Be prepared.

(111,052 posts)Pick any issue. He never seeks to unite the country.
The only issue he cannot successfully divide the people with is one of "right and wrong". He will not argue that facet of an issue.

(13,541 posts)doesn't look like the tweets are helping. His tweets show up elsewhere in the media, but he gets a lot of negative coverage there.

(111,052 posts)I heard somewhere on the cable today that his followers only listen to what he says, for their news consumption, and do not listen to any of the "drive-by media"? He is their gospel.
Maybe it has no impact at all? Or overall, a negative impact? We don't know. His tweets can be very divisive, in my opinion.

(8,908 posts)of other propaganda like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh which had already done a huge amount of damage to Democrats. I think emotional wedge issues Republicans have harnessed to their advantage like "taking away guns" and "abortion" and "socialism boogey people" are destroying us. Trump came in and added hate to it. The hate was always there, but he nurtured it and really brought it out. To Trump, he knew the hate inside people and used it like low hanging fruit. Tweets are just part of the wack-a-mole game we are playing by attempting to address propaganda.

(2,223 posts)We also need to remind people the awful things Trump has done like historically shutting down the government for 35 days, making a mockery of our justice system, cruelly detaining and separating families that were only looking for asylum in America. We need to make Repugs look like monsters and not cool to normal people.
