Almost as much sacrifice as the Trump family.

Sarcasm or disgust about the Trumps?

The Trumps are not shy about proclaiming how much they have 'sacrificed'.

Visit to Arlington Cemetery reminded Donald Trump Jr. of all his family's 'sacrifices,' he writes

Two special forces soldiers from New Mexico, Texas killed during attack in Afghanistan
Daniel Borunda, El Paso Times Published 12:58 p.m. MT Feb. 9, 2020

Rodriguez was born in Las Cruces and was a 2009 graduate of Mayfield High School. He joined the U.S. Army in October of 2009, according to a news release from U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

"Sgt. 1st Class Rodriguez was selfless and served honorably; he was certainly among the best in our unit," Col. John W. Sannes, 7th Special Forces Group Commander, said in a statement. "Here at the Red Empire, we take care of our own, and Sgt. 1st Class Rodriguez' family will forever be a part of us, we will assist them in any way we can to help them through these trying times."

Gutierrez was born in Jacksonville, N.C., and joined the Army in 2009 first as an infrantryman before being selected for Special Forces.

Gutierrez deployed once to Iraq with the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment and once to Afghanistan while assigned to 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), the Army said in a news release.

"Sgt. 1st Class Gutierrez was a warrior that exemplified selfless service and a commitment to the mission, both values that we embody here in the 7th Special Forces Group," Sannes said in a statement.

Serge, I have no way to insure the validity of those GoFundMe efforts but they do both look legit.

Special Forces Soldiers Killed in Afghan Firefight ID'd, Given Bronze Stars and Promotions

Military.com | By Hope Hodge Seck

Link: https://www.military.com/daily-news/2020/02/09/green-berets-killed-afghan-firefight-idd-given-bronze-stars-and-promotions.html

The Defense Department has awarded posthumous promotions to two Special Forces soldiers killed in a firefight in Nangarhar province Afghanistan on Saturday. Killed in the fight were Sgt. 1st Class Javier J. Gutierrez, 28, of San Antonio, Texas, and Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Rodriguez, 28, of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Both were assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), out of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Six other U.S. troops, who were not identified, were wounded in the fight, which began when "an individual in an Afghan uniform opened fire on the combined U.S. and Afghan force with a machine gun," U.S. Forces-Afghanistan spokesman Col. Sonny Leggett said in an earlier statement.

Rodriguez and Gutierrez were both posthumously promoted from the rank of staff sergeant and awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, U.S. Army Special Operations Command Lt. Col. Loren Bymer said in a released statement.

Thanks for your compassion, SergeStorms......

those that aren't worthless war criminals. So, anything he would say is a disgusting meaningless slap in the face to Javier Jaguar Gutierrez and Antonio Rey Rodriguez. The Trump tree is rotten through the roots. Nothing good will ever come from a single one of them. Nothing ever has. All that clown make-up hides the "Born to Lose" stamp on his forehead.

Mon Feb 10, 2020, 06:01 PM
Feb 2020

It occurs to me that the military death of a special forces soldier nearest to me was the adopted son of my first wife's third husband....He was Korean orphan and given the American name "Mike" and I only learned of him when my first wife was killed by cancer and I met her husband, who was a great guy. And Mike was special forces and killed well over a decade ago. Seems a disportionate part of our special forces are first generation immigrants and they bear a disproportionate share of the death and dying-I notice how few prominent families have losses now. In WW2 the Kennedys had 1 killed and one permanently disabled (JFK back injury). Bush 1 was an aviator, Reagan served stateside, even Nixon wore the uniform. The only "celebrity/famous" name killed in the nearly 20 years of war was Pat Tillman, an NFL player, killed in a "friendly fire" incident. I guess I'm just saying any war that is not for our survival, any war that is fought on the side are a lie and a fraud and the major outcome is a loss to minority families and a profit to majority shareholders in places like Raytheon and other merchants of death devices they sell both to us and others. It is time to kill the war machine.

Sgt No Class Bonespurs favors ignorance as bliss/fuel with no accounting for much?

I think Democrats should do some fake TV ads promoting DJT's stellar military service, in a deadpan style, but of course show videos of him molesting the flag, not saluting when he should, that walking in front of the Queen clip, mashed in with his verbal skills, end with the headaches comment and then show the brain injured folks, one after another..... you need to make these SOBs cry, after all we just love them whatever tears, uh no we don't, caz we don't think like themz there idiots, that shtick they can keep?
