One of the most scary things I have ever read. We are well down the road to a Police State.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142431046

So Rudy G. is now free to get paid by Russia to bring back Russian propaganda and
feed those lies to Bill Barr and the D.O.J. in order to hurt people who that Trump/Putin
see as enemies. I.O.W. now that the Republicans in the Senate voted to acquit Trump
the D.O.J. is going to do the exact same things that Trump was impeached for and now
do it in the open.

Jesus this is scary shit.

some seriously fucked up shit going on. i hope if we manage to get a Demo president and congress that said president will work with Congress to take away a lot of these bullshit "executive powers" that now basically seem to mean "there is no oversight anymore". Like this nonsence of saying everything is "privileged" and spend a year in court if you want to see it is downright dangerous to the nation. even if drumpf LOSES in the courts, look how much damage he does in the year the cases spend there!

The review mentions McMafia, which I read years ago, and is still relevant.

The network is confounding but there are forensic experts who can ferret out the starting point for hidden money making, which Moneyland explains.

Remember, in Nov, 2016, that the Canadian website on immigration crashed from all the Americans checking it out?

Then, during the Muslim ban soon after inauguration, Canada was flooded with Muslims from the US seeking asylum. Canada accepted them.

Every country needs volunteers, and as long as you pay taxes there I don't see why they wouldn't allow you to stay. Say you're a caregiver for your daughter's children (if they have any, or are planning on any). Anything is worth a shot. The U.S. has failed us, that's for sure.

I was a literacy volunteer. I helped adults learn to read.

But for most of my life, my volunteering has been limited to political activism. I am a low level grassroots activist. I started out helping my dad when he volunteered for Adlai Stevenson. I was eight years old. I am proud of my activism, and I will continue it until I can no longer do so. But I can't see that being an asset in Canada.

The stupid mixed with big $ and foreign policy is at DEFCON 1 in this country. The opposition to Democrats will be just as strong and absurd as their support of a chrisofascist state is.

We are going to have to fight with all we have for the next decade plus to just hold on to what we have right now.

It has been a nightmare and they are feeling emboldened.

They are capable of anything.

They don't think like we do.

They don't value what we value.

They don't believe in democracy.

They don't believe in freedom.

The White Supremacists have grown in numbers.

His cult will do anything for him and they are all heavily armed.

Trump makes threats out in the open.

It is truly terrifying how fast things will change.

And trump, so this shouldn't be a surprise he has trump trying to hurt his political opponents , especially ones putin hates the most. We're being brought to the same thing putin has done to russia, where opponents and opposition become criminals by having manufactured false evidence to use against them with. If trump gets in again from rigging this election he'll start trying to criminalize Obama, and others in his administration and other presidents he'll claim were corrupt, why , because he knows he's corrupt and it will be exposed he's the corrupt one.

Big business has been in control. Police have always been brutal.

Men have been misogynist for ever. Women were underclass. Gays were subject to unspeakable brutality. Blacks, Hispanic and Asians lived under constant threat. They lived and worked as quietly as they could and stayed under the radar.

Now it is just out in the open. And it's pretty ugly.
