He died the night before the 2016 election. I always thought that was a perfect time to go.

4. Holy crap, I'd forgotten that! Kate McKinnon of SNL came out in her Hillary pantsuit ...

...sat down at the piano, and sang Cohen's "Hallelujah." I sobbed at that performance, and I know many of us in DU's Hillary Group did as well.

It was a heartbreaking double tribute, that is sadly now gone from YouTube.
