Ohio's 10th congressional district (currently held by Mike Turner, R).
Tims earned a B.A. in communications from Xavier University and a J.D. from Georgetown Law. She also attended the Women's Campaign School at Yale University. Tims worked as a lobbyist and judiciary director at the League of Conservation Voters from 2017 to 2018, as a senior advisor to Child Care Aware of America from 2014 to 2017, as an aide to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D) from 2013 to 2014, as an aide to Sen. Sherrod Brown (D) from 2011 to 2013, and as an associate and White House intern for President Barack Obama (D) from 2010 to 2011. Tims has served as an advisory board member of Flywheel Cincinnati.
