I just received a yellow alert

that I have been blocked from participating in the History of Feminism group. Not to sound flippant but I had no idea I was participating. The only groups I use are Latest Threads, Cooking and Baking, and Fiction. 😨 A trifle ironic as I marched for Women’s Rights and passage of the ERA. I was also president of my local FEW (federally employed women). Strange. I must have offended someone. I guess I will never know.

From the notes on the groups pages:

"Only members who have posted in a particular forum may be blocked from that forum"

So, perhaps you posted in a thread not realizing it was from that group. Threads from groups do show up on the Latest Threads tab.

in that group. Perhaps, I did. Have always fought for women’s rights. Since college, through the 80s and 90s. I am now content to let the younger generations carry on. One last word of wisdom to impart: don’t be so harsh on one another. I certainly apologize to anyone I may have offended.

Never fails, no intelligent discussion just ----- now let's all start --- one, two, three, argue.

Ummmm, your brain is going to explode --- is that a good thing or a bad thing? Here we go --one, two, three, start arguing.

I looked over my recent messages and in one I said I would vote for the Democratic nominee no matter who it is. I told the breakfast crowd what I had for breakfast. Sunday, I told the fiction group that my two favorite books are: Wuthering Heights (always had a soft spot for Kathy) and A Daughter of Time (a great detective story). Feminism? Don’t think about it too much (maybe that’s my offense). Oh, well.

A whole bunch of us were blocked not long after it was created.

Why you just got a notice is a glitch, since whatever you did to get blocked back then is most likely long forgotten.

Since forum hosts have already chimed in, you could send them mail asking them to unblock you. Or, you could just forget about it if you don't plan to post there.

I don’t plan on participating in the group. It seems so long ago. Perhaps I was trying to be funny and instead fell flat. It’s ok, my most important problem now is giving out hearts. I feel Miss Millie needs a heart from me. I admire the loving care she gives to her father and sister by cooking dinner for them every evening. 💕
