This is very much for show, since they are spraying outside, and all of the buildings have tightly closed doors and windows.

Oh, and why spray the outside of an airplane? Okay, so maybe they very thoroughly disinfected the inside before boarding, but there is zero reason to think the corona virus is clinging to the outside of planes and infecting the rest of the world that way.

I'd like to know that they're REALLY encouraging handwashing everywhere.

That’s an inaugural flight of Starlux Airlines, an airline which started operations three weeks ago. Those fire trucks doing the water arch thing aren’t even pointing the hoses at the plane - aside from the inherent stupidity of “disinfecting” the exterior of an airplane.
