Seriously. I recently launched a thread in the Democratic Primaries forum showing pictures of our potential "first couples," here:

All the Democratic couples I featured appear to be loving and caring toward their significant others. Then, I did a search for pictures of Trump and Melania, and, time after time, I came up with cold, disdainful pictures like the one you see above.

Honestly, I am fond of Melania. Is she fake? Yes. Has she represented the United States well as the First Lady? Yes, I would say that she has. Is she a decent person (unlike Don Jr., Ivanka, and Jared)? Yes. I think so, but these are just my opinions.

But that picture? No. These two are not loving partners.

I see no decency. Just another self-involved Trump with no compassion or gratitude for the honor of being FLOTUS. She has proved herself to be uninterested in the role she could play in setting a positive example, as Michelle did so well. She enables her husband and plays the victim as much as he does. Her unhappiness is self-inflicted.

13. As pointed out above, Melania joined Trump in the whole birther idiocy.

She's a willing water-carrier for the Republican Party and their racism. If you're fond of her regardless, that shows a great deal of compassion for someone who does not seem like a happy person.

But that's her own fault. She staked her happiness on being wealthy. I wonder if she feels it was worth it. Every time she bats away Trump's hand, I get the feeling it isn't.

Maybe several reasons. But they had business to transact. She agreed to an awful bargain all for the love of money. His ego needed a young woman on his arm as arm candy. A baby boy sealed her money connection to him forever. He wasn’t supposed to win the Presidency and when he did, their split had to be delayed. I am certain she is about as miserable as one human can be. He is not an easy man to live with which is why she, Barron and her parents live outside of DC most of the time.

If and win his time in DC is up, you can count on a parting of the ways for the tRumps. They will no longer have to put on the act of being a happily married couple. (They’re lousy at it anyway.) In the meantime, Melania made a deal with the Devil and it must be hell to be in her stilettos. Not that I’m feeling any pangs of sympathy for the old girl. Heh, heh, heh.....

They don't love each other. In fact, I doubt very much that they can barely tolerate each other. They are both horrible individuals, although he is much worse than she is, she is no prize herself.

They are both miserable together and it's a shame that they have brought a child into the world who is probably going to end up extremely messed up due to the selfishness, greed and coldness of his parents. They are two people who are incapable of real love. Any love they have for their son is just narcissistic projection. He is just an extension of their egos.

They are a vile, disgusting couple because they are both contemptible individuals on their own. They are two of the most sickening people on the planet.
