Okay, I'm not suggesting Kansas will be a battleground state, but this is interesting in how it speaks to how Trump has impacted the GOP: On Election Day '16 registered GOPs outnumbered Dems by 20%. Among the 226,841 Kansans registered since that day, the GOP advantage is 6.3%.

(34,136 posts)We do not seem to have a problem with females in high positions here.
Bernie beat Hillary last time by, I can't remember now but I think it was 30% so he might still have a big group here. Amy is wonderful and you are right, she just might do very well here.

(34,136 posts)I hope this is true. Life got so bad with Brownback I cannot imagine that there will not be at least some flight to the Democrats. All in all, in my little experience it feels better here. Our new Democratic Governor is doing good things. Our horrible Legislature is trying to do some really awful things but shoot, I never though I would see the day that the R's with a majority could not get an anti abortion bill passed.
I hope this is correct and that it makes a difference. It is always embarrassing when our state vote counts are shown. It would be nice if they were not so this time. We still may send R's to Washington but god, we have to get rid of Trump.
