I lost a former coach/teacher & mentor yesterday.

I lived in a small town in Iowa back in the mid 70’s. Our family had lived there for about 3 years prior to his family moving in to a house across the street from ours. His oldest son & I were about the same age. We got to be friends and his father treated us like family. With my father away from home as a truck driver, Coach took us to games and my dad would take us fish on his home time. Coach taught me a lot in the short time we lived there before our family moved back to Omaha. We lost touch after time passed. But we caught up together on Facebook. He was a great person. Here is the best part of the story! He was a big time Trump hater and let it be be known to all! He would have fierce conversations with those who supported Trump. I will miss his hysterical poke at those who tried to respond! But in the end Coach had one up on them every time! Rest In Peace Coach! We will continue to fight until Trump is gone!
