(19,587 posts)The WHO is correct, but the data they have is likely incorrect. NK doesn't openly share data.
However, there are rumors of COVID-19 having been introduced to NK, probably via illegal trade with China. It's not verifiable, though.

(16,140 posts)... not much international traffic coming and going on a daily basis. So the incidence of person to person infection rates might be significantly lower. International human traffic is way lower than other countries might experience.
The math and percentages are working very much in their favor.
