If it were up to me it would never have gotten this far. It was so obvious we would end up here years ago!

(118,642 posts)all seems like such a huge jump for americans that it is almost impossible. But i see it now as what will keep the country together and what will keep a middle class. Any very decent healthcare plan will. And republicans know it. Afterall conservatives practically undid the union movement so they can't be against huge social upheaval as a rule. They are gunning for the New Deal as we speak. Someone needs to point out the mistakes of the last 40 years and Biden is not the one to do it. Who is? I don't know. But whoever wins for the democrats needs to run against the last 40 years. And show the GOP march to destroy the middle class. And that Democratic policies are not the enemy.
