I'm on the mend and credit the hearts from my anonymous DU friends. Thank you!

Yesterday was (hopefully) the apex of this cold virus because I woke up, this morning, actually able to breathe through my nose!! Whoo HOO!! Another day of bedrest and I'm going to declare victory.

Normally, I have a freakishly robust immune system but stress is my Kryptonite.

If you can afford to do so, take it easy for a while. I had this cold from just after Thanksgiving until just after New Year's. Every time I thought I was feeling better I would go back to work and start my usual routine and then it would come back again and by the end of the week I was back in bed again for the entire weekend. Minor symptoms still lingered throughout January.

Take care of yourself!

Other than a bit of puttering, I've been resting and dosing myself with garlic intensive homemade chicken soup, lots of tea with honey and lemon, and keeping well hydrated with juices and water. The improvement, since just yesterday, is pretty impressive.

Other than one run to the store, I'm staying low and taking it easy until next week. I've learned a hard lesson about what can happen when you don't take care of what feels like a common cold. They can be sneaky bastards.

Thanks!
