Loughlin, Giannulli ask for bribery trial delay until 2021

BOSTON —
Lawyers for “Full House” actress Lori Loughlin, her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli and other prominent parents charged in the sweeping college admissions bribery case say they won't be ready to go to trial until next year.

Federal prosecutors in Boston have said the first trial for the wealthy parents still fighting the charges should begin in October and that Loughlin and Giannulli should be tried in the first group.

But the substantial amount of evidence, outstanding pretrial motions and “general complexity” of the case make a trial this fall impossible, attorney Sean Berkowitz, who's representing Loughlin and Giannulli, said in a response filed Wednesday. The first trial should begin no sooner than next February, Berkowtiz said.

The judge will ultimately decide when the trials will begin.

Prosecutors have provided the defense with more than 1.9 million documents, consisting of more than 3.2 million pages, and more than 300 hours of audio and video, said Robert Popeo, an attorney for another parent charged in the case, media executive Elizabeth Kimmel.

Could someone tell me what’s going on in the lower right of this picture?

And the guy used his hands to back him away and he tripped and fell. Just a guess that’s probably more respectable then reality.

It would all be over by now. Where are her kids these days, anyway?

they are where they are now.

I have no idea if she is dumb or not but this was just too much for me. I do not have any tolerance for this kind of crap and behavior but in the long run it does not make her dumb or stupid. Maybe or probably a little smart to realize she could make money doing this either by doing it every day for girls who want to get "the look" or by getting attention that might lead somewhere.

vacuous kind of behavior is being pushed. I guess we should just add it to the list.

TBH, I lasted 35 seconds with this video. He hand gestures and the odd vocal inflections and the simple fact that anyone over the age of 3 should KNOW how to wash their face. I sure do not recall anyone teaching me how to apply make up and I did not need daily encouragement by someone on TV. Odd, I am just an old fogey I suspect. I am trying to be more open about this stuff but damn, it is getting harder all the time.
