This BNO site is a great source for all things corona
For a long while, they were only posting stats released by China in the evening, but now...they’re on the case 23/7

these isolated cases originating in China aren't cause for alarm.

So it may take even longer for symptoms to show up. Slow replicating virus.

when those folks who we brought back from China were released after only two weeks of quarantine.

I've probably got enough food to barricade us in the house for a month or two if it comes down to that.

They have executed the best quarantine I've ever seen. The rest of the world is gaining precious time to get a vaccine and to figure out the best antiviral treatments.

That said, this may throw the world into a recession and there are going to be deaths tangentially related to an inability to get needed drug components from China.

Still, China and their people are taking this hard on the chin.

I keep seeing comparisons to the flu. China has seen flu and would not quarantine large swaths of the country over flu. China’s panicked reaction has convinced me that we have a real potential for a global pandemic.

But it will get out. They bought time, possibly enough to get a vaccine.

Countries that have modern medicine have a lower death rate, less than 2%
