YouTube censors Rand Paul by removing whistleblower video, and he's not happy
If you want to see a video of Sen. Rand Paul reading a question that outs the Ukraine whistleblower's alleged identity, you won't be able to find one on YouTube.
The video-sharing platform has removed a video of the Kentucky Republican saying the potential name of the anonymous tipster, according to Politico.
Paul did this twice during President Donald Trump's impeachment trial — once when speaking to a gaggle of reporters after Chief Justice John Roberts declined to read his question, and once from the Senate floor when explaining his vote to acquit the president on both charges he faced.
The whistleblower's identity has not been revealed or verified publicly, which is why The Courier Journal and USA TODAY are not publishing the person's alleged name or Paul's question.
