Report: White supremacist propaganda on college campuses doubled in 2019

From the article:

White supremacist groups doubled down on colleges and universities across the country in 2019, blanketing campuses and off-campus haunts with propaganda, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism.

The report found a total of 2,713 cases of leafleting on and off campus — an average of more than seven per day nationwide, compared with 1,214 in 2018. That makes it the highest year on record for such activity in the United States.

But while white supremacist groups are using old-fashioned methods — plastering buildings, bulletin boards and bridge overhangs with flyers, stickers, posters and banners — their messages are far more subtle, the report says.

Given how the white supremacist in chief acts, this is sad but not surprising.

of reason that could question their turn to white supremacy .
Plus they solidify the random raised on racism crowd into a group setting

And they provide a group, and a way of viewing the world for those who are unsure, and insecure.

A northern WI group called PARR hated Native American fish spearing rights they earned when the whites took their land. It stood for "Protect American's Rights & Resources".

One day, I noticed someone wrote PARR on a men's room wall at the sink with Sharpie. I renamed them on that wall "Prejudiced A**holes Ranting & Raving". The graffiti was gone that same week.

What really troubled me during that era was the local media would broadcast when and where the spearfishing would occur. The next night, they had another news story, showing a bunch of drunken rednecks holding signs and drinking beer. Those newspeople were lazy and created their own story.

Now in the age of Trump, I'm afraid this crap doesn't surprise me.

Many of the formerly secret racists are coming back out in the open.

That's fine too. Some of the Charlottesville cretins lost their jobs after being identified.

In the IL 3rd District, Nazi Arthur Jones is running again, as one of three GOP candidates.

In 2018, over 56,000 voted for the open Nazi.

If you see white supremacist propaganda being spread, do not hesitate to contact the school administrators and let them know what is going on. Most campuses have rules against hateful conduct and they should be made aware of student activities.

A friend of mine received recruiting literature from the KKK. She gave it to the police, and the police said that they have seen this material many times.

When Arthur Jones, a local Nazi, came out to community meetings, I and others gave him a loud welcome. He left the meeting and has not come back again.
