I have a fond memory of High School in the 1970's

I was in High School as the Vietnam war was winding down and Nixon was in office.
We loved Laugh-in and George Carlin
My best friend and I had the job of changing the reader board at school.
We'd make silly signs like:
C D B?
I M N D LF8R
I C U U C ME?

But one day I heard an over-head page: Richard, Mike please come to the office.
We went and the Vice-Principal angrily told us to go change the damn reader board, NOW! . Why?

We had posted:
Tricky Dickie's gone to China. Rotsa Ruck! and the office got tons of complaints.
Later that year, we received a special award for raising the awareness of the town's citizens with our reader board signs
