I'll have to admit...

I’m an unabashed optimist. Life is way too short and precious to ignore the bright spots in our existence and strive towards them.

Here’s my bright spot I’m seeing. I feel like this administration is eating itself. Never before have I seen or heard anything such as what we are experiencing in Washington today. DOJ employees threading walkouts, AG telling the POTUS to shut up, well kind of, threats against each other. Whew! What a mess. That’s yesterday...

It’s crumbling it’s coming down...

but merely voted for change.

Bill Maher once joked that he was hoping for a recession to get rid of Trump. Unfortunately, that would devastate the 99%. Well, every circus has to eventually end. Then we can tell the assclown he did it to himself.

President Trump is surgically working to destroy the very organizations that keep us safe. He has already gutted the state department, is currently working on the Justice Department and next in line is the intelligence community. He wants to purge anyone who tells the truth about who he is and what he’s done.

His time will come to an end. That’s a given and he can do a lot more damage in even the short time before November, given four more years in would be awful.
All the damage he’s done can be fixed. It may take time, it may take some sacrifice, it may come out better.
My late SIL was in the construction biz I helped her out sometimes when I was able. Sometimes to be able to fix things correctly or put into better shape we needed to deconstruct the whole thing and start from scratch. Putting patches on stuff to get by will eventually fail. This may be the reconstruction this country needs.

but I think all of this is helping, especially with Bloomberg poking him in the ribs all the time. The plan needs to be the same as it was in 2018. Run on issues and get out the vote. If the administration continues to implode, so much the better.
