Murkowski gets her acquittal vote payoff from Mrs. Mitch McConnell

Anchorage municipal manager Bill Falsey called Tuesday a "good day" after it was announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded a $20 million infrastructure development grant to the Port of Alaska.

Municipal leaders say the Port Infrastructure Development Program grant is on top of a $25 million Better Utilizing Investment to Leverage Development grant DOT awarded last November.

can look Doug Jones in the eye?

He'll probably be out of Congress after the election, but when the three of them are old and reflect back on their lives, I think Jones will have a much higher level of satisfaction and contentment.

. . . and yet they keep voting in members of the Republican party, the party of climate-change deniers and members of the "oil-a-garchy." I guess the infrastructure development shows foresight on Murkowski's part, though: Alaskans are going to need good highways on which to flee from the fires when Alaska is ablaze on the same scale that Australia was in 2019–2020.

THAT'S what I think happened
