A New Hampshire man has been arrested after slapping a 15-year-old Trump supporter during the states primary, police said.
Patrick Bradley, 34, was leaving a polling place in the southeast New Hampshire town of Windham when he passed a campaign tent for President Trump. Windham police said in a news release that he hit the teenager, who was volunteering at the tent and wearing a Make America Great Again hat, across the face. When two adult Trump supporters tried to intervene, Bradley attacked them, too, police said. He is also accused of attempting to knock over the tent.
Cathy Campbell said My son was standing outside on the sidewalk, and he said have a nice night, he said it to everyone. But this man was triggered, He said f--- you to him and wound up his hand as fast as he could and slapped him across the face.
Bradley was arrested Thursday and charged with three misdemeanor counts of simple assault and one count of disorderly conduct, according to police. He was taken to the Rockingham County Jail, where he was held overnight on $5,000 bail. He was also placed on administrative hold for a probation violation, police said. He was expected to be arraigned Friday.

(11,722 posts)Assaulting people who are not threatening you is not okay. I understand the frustration and the anger caused by Trump and his supporters, but if they are just sitting at a tent, argue with them or leave them be.

If he had been in a hospital and slapped an RN, tech or Dr. it would be felony assault in Washington State.
I hope the kid sues the subject in civil court as well,

(24,391 posts)that one of ours does something like this, we just condemn it and move on. If it happened to one of ours OTOH, the other side would be quickly inventing conspiracy theories or claiming some kind of justification for the behavior.
