SCOOP: Barr installed a team of outside prosecutors, including from St. Louis, to go into the office of the US attorney for DC & review the work of line attorneys handling political sensitive cases -- including vs Michael Flynn @adamgoldmanNYT @mattapuzzo https://nytimes.com/2020/02/14/us/politics/michael-flynn-prosecutors-barr.html

The more functions Trump can remove from established government agencies, the more corruption he can freely practice. In effect, Trump is trying to privatize the federal government and make it accountable only to him. He would thus be the law and could do anything he wants, including locking up his enemies and faking all government data to support his policies.

The moves amounted to imposing a secondary layer of monitoring and control over what career prosecutors have been doing in the Washington office. They are part of a broader turmoil in that office coinciding with Mr. Barr’s recent installation of a close aide, Timothy Shea, as interim United States attorney in the District of Columbia, after Mr. Barr maneuvered out the Senate-confirmed former top prosecutor in the office, Jessie K. Liu.

knew they couldn't vote against him and the ones who are Uber fanatics, like Jordan, Lindsay, Gaetz, were chosen to be the way they are in purpose. Everyone is playing a role, just like in a movie. It would mean that there is a tremendous evil force playing against our country..but at least we'd know they are not being that way because they feel that way.

You think of it logically, why would a vast majority of a group of people (any people) all chose a path against what is decent and right? Forgetting who they are for a moment. Defies probability.

It didn't matter what we said in Impeachment. Because the die was cast. Larger force at work. His bullying over and over and over works and scares people enough that they would go against their core ideals.

is, but it does seem to be the most logical motivating factor. Abusers are a fine example. Prisons and foster homes are perfect breeding grounds, or anywhere a person has complete control over another. Family members, co-workers, all know somethings up, but mums the word. The thing they are not acknowledging is the thing that binds them together.

Cause most of the time the crap they spew.. is what they do.

Anything they complain about or accuse others of.. usually is what they are or will soon be doing.

All this deepstate business? Guess what the next president will get to contend with?

They project what they do onto others. I've been screaming this forever. They are the Deep State they speak of. They are the Axis of Evil we have been told to fear. It is terrifying to think that even one person would support such ethically bankrupt individuals as these, but they do. And their supporters think people like tRump are fixing the corruption, and are not parties to it.

They claim that they answer only to god. I think that makes their oaths of office and declarations of loyalty to our nation pretty much worthless. Maybe that explains some things.

truly independent with the same limited oversight Congress gives SCOTUS.
Maybe also make it so that the head of the DOJ serves 6 years with a further 6 only if they get 80% of those in the House to vote for the extension.

If they leave, barr will replace them with trump cultists, and it could take awhile to root all of them out later.

I know it won't be pleasant, and they want to stand up for their principles, but we need honest attorneys in DOJ.
