Why is Rudy's "pipeline" running thru the Pittsburgh US Attorneys Offices?

Attorney General William P. Barr said this week that the department had established an “intake process” to accept information about Biden gathered by the president’s personal attorney. Officials confirmed Giuliani’s tips are being routed to the U.S. attorney’s office in Pittsburgh

Joyce Vance says the office is known for its cyber crime work:

Worth noting that the Pittsburgy USAO is known for its cyber crime work and has significant investigative resources in that area.

For what it's worth, this is the US Atty for Western PA:

Scott Brady (Wikipedia)

Scott W. Brady is an American attorney who currently serves as the United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to assuming his current role, he was the head of litigation for Federated Investors. Brady previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 2004 to 2010, where he prosecuted white collar crime, violent crime, and drug trafficking offenses. He also served as an associate at Jones Day and at Reed Smith, where his practice focused on multi-district litigation, white collar criminal matters, and internal investigations. Brady serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

A graduate of Harvard University and the Pennsylvania State University School of Law, Brady clerked for Thomas Hardiman of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, he worked in emergency relief and development in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

There's something to see here, but it's not yet clear what it is - why the Western PA USAO?

...so they're out as a pipeline oracle for Rudy. It likely has something to do with Scott Brady being in charge of that office. But, there's not a ton of info on this guy (that I've seen so far).

"Who" is Scott Brady??

Sanctioned Russian accused in U.S. election hacking is under indictment in Pittsburgh

Nothing about Brady, but they were able to indict Bogachev here with some innovative court ordered online search warrants.
