(9,225 posts)These are the entities fighting tooth and nail to remove all environmental regulations. Right now, many of them or their representatives or former CxO goons are the ones running the US EPA.
They're destroying the only planet humanity depends on for life.
They're destroying the human race.
For private PROFIT.
Can there BE anything more immoral than that?
I don't think so.

(50,922 posts)that have become normal sights on our roads and I want to shake those people.
Also, if we could shake our dependence on fossil fuels, about 75% of wars would end and problems cease to exist.

(9,225 posts)You can't see over, through, or around them. I guess the pencil-dick, one-brain-cell amoebas inside feel oh-so-safe, but no one else on the road is safe from them!
I hate those things. Can't imagine what it costs to fill one up with gas. Must be half a weekly paycheck or more.

(50,922 posts)I see them on the road and my first thought is, "asshole."
I have a friend who is a landscaper. He needed a new truck for work. He couldn't find anything because they're all tricked out for the weekend warrior so they're impractical for any real work, and the price for them has been driven up ridiculously. He ended up overhauling his old truck.

(5,926 posts)I'm sure if we nationalized our energy mining and drilling activities we'd be up there too. It's really up to all of us in our activities every day including today, so challenge yourself to use less. It's not companies that are the problem here it's all of the customers ie me and you.
