Maybe they should give influenza some trendy new name

And talk about it like it’s new and exotic. Then maybe people would get the flu shot, wash their hands more often, etc.

...flu shot when we bring it up at the pediatric office is, “We’ve never gotten the flu.”

I politely reply, “Past good luck is no guarantee of future good luck.”
