Trump 'spiritual adviser' tells followers to skip paying electric bills so they can send her church

Paula White, a prosperity gospel minister who serves as President Donald Trump’s “spiritual adviser,” apparently believes her followers should live in the dark to help keep the lights on at her church.

A lengthy report on White by Mother Jones reveals that the Trump-loving preacher recently told followers at her Supernatural Ministry School in Miami that they could secure God’s favor by sending her church as much money as possible — even if that meant skipping their monthly electric bills.

In particular, White said that followers who send their money to Florida Power and Light (FPL) every month instead of giving it to her church are treating the electric company better than they treat God.

“Instead of writing [that check] to the house of God as I’m instructed to, then what I’m saying spiritually is, ‘FPL, I have now established a spiritual law that put you first,'” White explained to her flock. “So, FPL, save my family, FPL, deliver my drug addicted son. FPL, kill this cancer that doctors say is in my body.”

The Mother Jones article embedded in this is also a good read............

I'll add this, there are now three credit agencies that dictate if you can borrow money.....................and if your a dead beat on your bills............................well.....................you pay the proverbial piper................

highest order. And Paula White is the most bat-shit crazy one of all of them. It's only natural that she and Trump would gravitate toward one another. She is such a blatant bullshit-artist, I don't know how anyone could be stupid enough to fall for her schtick.

Then again, I guess if you are stupid enough to fall for it, you get what you deserve.

.

In NJ, it's not held against property owners to skip payments.

I don't know if other states have that same protection. If other states report people to the credit bureaus, then Paula White is doubly responsibly for jamming her followers. If they have OK credit, she'll flush that down the toilet and those peop0le will be faced with thousands in charge increases over the next decade.

How it could not hurt your credit. Someone needs to take that shyster to Court.

Of course Billy Cohn Barr would have it tossed. One good thing Trump is really exposing the belly of the corrupt so called Religious Leaders.

God is not supposed to have establish cred by doing magic tricks (I always liked the "water into wine" miracle myself).

On the one hand, a reasonable God would turn these crooks into smoking pieces of pork rind with a bolt of lightning. On the other hand, we were warned about false prophets.

And any prophet who hooks up with trump is by definition a false one.

... with a Republican relative arguing about religion and politics, and I told that story as Christ throwing the poor people out of the temple because they were interfering with the businessmen trying to run their businesses and help the economy. I had used this line as an illustration/joke often, and almost always got a “screw you” as a comeback.

This was the only time someone sort of bought it. He looked a little confused but didn’t have an immediate response. I could see the wheels were turning. He finally said that wouldn’t surprise him because God knew the value of a good economy, and how it helped poor people.

I never straightened it out for him, but I think he figured it out. He won’t talk politics with me anymore.

The House and Senate were not Congress. When I explained Pelosi had passed 250 bills at that time they sneeringly asked why Pelosi did not dump them on Trumps desk! Then I had to try and explain Government did not work that way.
